We only accept a few large weddings per year due to our travel schedule for elopements and intimate weddings. We commonly photograph weddings and elopements throughout the US, with a focus in the Southeast. Hi, I am Emily, and Athens has become an important part of my work as a photographer.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing families through so many seasons of life—from watching their youngest learn to walk to photographing that same child as a high school senior preparing to leave for college. I have captured proposals along the riverbanks of Northeast Georgia and photographed the weddings that followed. I have watched families grow, change, and return, and every time they do, I feel the same genuine gratitude for being trusted with something so irreplaceable.
I approach every session as a collaborator first. Whether we are working in the golden light of a late afternoon on the UGA campus, navigating a full family session with young children and teens, or documenting a senior portrait experience that a family has looked forward to for years, I bring the same level of preparation, care, and creative investment to every session.
